The Kitchen at the Sonoran Desert Inn & Conference Center is a fully equipped commercial kitchen designed to support catering, events, and community programming on the Curley Creative Campus. Available for rental by chefs, food entrepreneurs, organizations, locals and guests, the space serves as a hub for shared meals, special events, and seasonal gatherings such as Tasty Tuesdays. With adjacent indoor and outdoor dining areas and a welcoming campus setting, the kitchen plays an important role in bringing people together through food—while supporting local initiatives and creative use.
Prepared Meals & Breakfast Options
For guests looking for a simple and satisfying dining option, the Sonoran Desert Inn offers a selection of house-prepared frozen meals available for purchase on campus. Inspired by regional flavors, these ready-to-enjoy meals can be picked up at Coyote Commons and heated at your convenience — perfect after a day of travel, meetings, or desert exploring.
Guests can also order breakfast in advance, either when booking your stay or through the front desk. Breakfast orders should be placed by 8:00 PM the evening before to ensure availability.
Whether you’re arriving late, settling in after a full day, or planning ahead for a relaxed morning, these options make it easy to enjoy a delicious meal without leaving the campus.

Our property features a full commercial kitchen outfitted with professional cooking equipment, supplies, and pantry staples. We partner with a group of wonderful local cooks to cater up to three meals a day for groups. We work with each group to customize menus, and can accommodate a wide range of tastes, price points, and special diets.
Community Kitchen Rentals
Our kitchen can also be rented by Ajo residents and guests interested in preparing food for events and markets; creating value-added food products; and hosting cooking workshops, retreats, and demonstrations. Families love renting the kitchen for reunions to prepare meals together.
