Cancellation Policy

  • Single Reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance (by 11:59AM, two days in advance) with no penalty. Group Reservations are subject to contract terms.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.

  • Long-term bookings may be subject to different cancellation terms.

  • No show, no calls are charged in full.

  • Bookings for special events may have different cancellation terms.

  • Bookings for Red & White Weekend are non-refundable.

  • Management makes no assurance of amenities or features of the property beyond that which is described on the Accommodations page.

Damage Policy

The Sonoran Desert Inn is an historic former school, part of the Ajo Historic Townsite and on the National Register of Historic Places. As a non-profit, we are stewards of this property and responsible for preserving it for decades to come.

The Sonoran Desert Inn & Conference Center reserves the right to assess a fee of up to $500 if damages are found in a guest room upon check-out. Damages may include but are not limited to: evidence of smoking; use of candles, incense, mothballs, or anything else that leaves a discernible smell or visible damage in the room; damage from pets; ruined linens; and/or broken furnishings or equipment. By reserving and staying in one of our rooms, guests agree to this policy.
